Our goal is to provide a positive, organized, and successful tutoring experience for every family. These policies help ensure sessions run smoothly and allow each student to receive the best possible support.
📅 Scheduling & Payment
Sessions are by appointment only and must be booked in advance. Payment is due before each session. GlowTree Tutoring accepts PayPal, Cash App, Apple Pay, and Venmo. Links sent via email.
📋 Booking Information
To provide your child with the best learning experience, please allow up to 5 business days after booking for GlowTree Tutoring to create a personalized learning plan based on your child’s academic needs before their first session.
Summer Session Booking Dates
Package Plans: The final day to book a summer package plan is July 1st. After this date, package enrollment will close.
Drop-In Sessions: Drop-in tutoring sessions will be available through July 30th. All drop-in sessions must be booked before this date based on availability.
⏰ Cancellations & Attendance
At GlowTree Tutoring, I understand that schedules can change. My goal is to provide flexibility while also protecting reserved tutoring time for each student.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. With advance notice, I will do my best to find another available time.
Last-Minute Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may not be eligible for a rescheduled session due to limited availability.
Missed Sessions
If a student misses a scheduled session without communication, the session may be considered completed.
Emergencies & Illness
I understand that unexpected situations happen. Illnesses, emergencies, and special circumstances will always be handled with understanding and care.

☀️ Summer Package Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Parents may cancel their Summer Package (1x, 2x, or 3x per week) up to 72 hours before the first scheduled session for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the first scheduled session will receive a 50% refund.
- Once the first tutoring session has begun, no refunds will be issued for the remaining sessions in the package.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days using the original payment method.
- If GlowTree Tutoring must cancel a package before it begins and cannot offer a suitable alternative, a full refund will be issued.
- By purchasing a Summer Package, parents acknowledge and agree to these cancellation and refund policies at the time of booking.
⏳ Waiting List
If a summer session or package is full, families may request to be added to the waiting list at no cost.
- Families on the waiting list will be contacted in the order they signed up if a spot becomes available.
- If a family cancels their summer package, the available spot will be offered to the next student on the waiting list.
- Once notified, families will have 24 hours to accept the available spot before it is offered to the next family.
- Placement is not guaranteed until payment is received and the registration is confirmed.
👥 Small Group Tutoring
Small group sessions are available during the school year only. Students are grouped by grade level, academic needs, and availability to create the best learning environment.
💬 Communication & Privacy
Families will receive updates on their child's progress throughout tutoring. Student information is kept confidential, and photos or testimonials will only be shared with parent or guardian permission.
